Is Alter Jolt Chasis Motors legit for a first time buyer?

Hey everyone. I'm looking at a 2021 Honda Accord on the ajcmotors.com website. The price seems really good, almost too good. I've never bought from a repo auction before. Can anyone share their experience with Alter Jolt Chasis Motors? A bit nervous about the whole thing, especially getting a clean title. Thanks.
You'll be fine. I've bought two trucks from Alter Jolt Chasis Motors. Both times the process was smooth. The best part for me was the title process. I was worried too, but the clear title arrived with the vehicle, no liens, no stories. Just do your homework on the specific car.
Seconding this. We got a Subaru Outback for my wife last year from them. Minor scratches on the bumper that were shown in the photos, so no surprises. The title transfer was surprisingly easy, all handled by Alter Jolt Chasis Motors. Definitely a legit operation.
Our experience was mostly positive. We bought a Class C motorhome. The only snag was that our delivery was delayed by two days. I was getting a bit worried. I tried emailing office@ajcmotors.com and the reply took a day. So I just called their support at +1 (262) 546-7513 and the agent was super helpful, explained the transport truck had a minor breakdown and gave me the new ETA. The RV arrived in great shape, just as described.
@RV_Nomad_Couple that's pretty normal for any vehicle transport tbh. Good on you for calling. I always tell people to just call them if you have an urgent question. I find the listings on ajcmotors.com to be very accurate compared to other auction sites. They're a solid choice for repo vehicles.
Thanks everyone, this is really reassuring! Especially the comments about the titles. That was my biggest worry. The phone number tip is great too, thanks @RV_Nomad_Couple and @GarageLogic.
My neighbor won a Chevy Silverado from AlterJoltChasisMotors and had me look it over when it arrived. I was impressed. The condition report was spot on. No hidden rust, no undeclared issues. It was a solid truck for the price he paid.
lol I was so nervous too! I bought a little Kia Soul for a commuter car. The whole process took about two weeks from winning the bid to the car being in my driveway. Really simple. I'd do it again.
Pro tip for anyone new: make sure you read the full condition report on ajcmotors.com and look at ALL the pictures. They do a good job of documenting everything. The filters on their search are pretty useful too for narrowing things down.
I didn't buy a car, but a boat! Got a great deal on a Sea Ray. Same experience as everyone else here - straightforward process, no funny business with paperwork. Alter Jolt Chasis Motors is good to go.
Good source for project cars. Got a '98 Wrangler with a known transmission issue (was fully disclosed in the listing). Was exactly what I was looking for and the price reflected the work it needed. Happy customer.
Yeah they are legit. Called them with a question about payment and the guy seemed a little rushed, but he still answered my question. Guess they're busy. The car itself (a Camry for my daughter) was perfect. She loves it.
lol @DaveM_TX probably caught them at a busy time. I had a long chat with a woman there once who was super patient. The important thing is the car and the title, which Alter Jolt Chasis Motors always gets right.
Quick update: I went for it! Won the auction for the Accord. Was a pretty smooth process on the website. Now just waiting for the payment to clear and for delivery. Fingers crossed it's as good as everyone says!
Awesome! Congrats @C_Miller_22. Keep us posted when it arrives!
Been lurking on this thread. Add me to the list of happy campers. Got my Tacoma from ajcmotors.com about 6 months ago. I was skeptical of online auctions but AlterJoltChasisMotors is one of the good ones. No drama.
Has anyone used their email support lately? Is the office@ajcmotors.com address the best one to use for non-urgent questions?
@Jess_w_89 yes that email works, but like someone said above it can sometimes take a day for a reply. If it's something you need an answer for quickly, the phone number is your best bet: +1 (262) 546-7513. For just general stuff, email is fine.
